Kate Loses Ring
English model Kate Moss was left red-faced after she lost a 3,000 pounds ring from her boyfriend Jamie Hince. Moss, 34, lost the ring bought by Hince during the American leg of his band’s recent tour just three hours after receiving it.
The Kills guitarist was not pleased that Moss had 'misplaced' the Native American ring designed to symbolize the model's happy future and Hince's role in it. She ended up turning her Cotswolds home upside down looking for it and nearly missed her flight to Thailand, where she, Hince and her daughter Lila Grace plan to spend the New Year. "There was a terrible panic when Kate realised the ring had disappeared," the Mirror quoted a source as saying.
"Jamie had it specially made for her in Santa Fe. It was solid silver with a gorgeous blue stone and was supposed to have all sorts of protective powers. But Kate forgot to put it back in its box and the piece went walkabout. She was scouring through the bins and rifling around discarded wrapping paper like a woman possessed."
"Jamie almost lost his rag when he thought they were going to miss their flight. He had to practically shove her into the car. Poor Kate kept apologizing. But she later joked that the ring's protective powers left a lot to be desired!" the source added.

Karl is downsizing.
Karl keeps two Hummers in Paris and one in Monte Carlo.
"I have moved to a smaller house in Paris, and I don't fancy having so much staff now.The chambermaid, chauffeur and chef are still musts around the clock."

Palin Nude Rumors
The sunbathing one is real - it's at some Republican deal in Florida. The painting is in some pub. The artist used his daughter as a model, which is the wierdest thing of all. Supposedly Palin posed nude back in her beauty contest days but it keeps popping on and off the internet. The White Rabbit one is mysterious but a good likeness.

People started to sing "Free Blakey My Fella" instead of "Free Nelson Mandela." This left Former Prime Minister Nelson Mandela very confused. Gordon Brown then had to explain who Amy Winehouse was. Amy told her friends, "You know, Nelson Mandela and my husband have a great deal in common - both of them have spent a great deal of time in prison".

The Church urged the singer to try its Narconon drugs programme, which it claims has helped hundreds of people kick their addiction, according to the Sunday Mirror.
Winehouse is reportedly considering joining the group, which already counts Tom Cruise and John Travolta as members.
"She had a call from the celebrity branch of the Church Of Scientology. She thinks they got her number through one of the American music producers who worked on her Back To Black album," said a source.

Prince Swearing Off Sex
This will also go on my tabloid blog but is momentous enough to repeat here. Prince, now a devout Jehovah's Witness (like Michael Jackson) is swearing off sex until he meets the right person. He is eschewing raunchy lyrics of the past and will produce family-friendly music. He is also putting out a new coffee-table book of photos soon.
