English model Kate Moss was left red-faced after she lost a 3,000 pounds ring from her boyfriend Jamie Hince. Moss, 34, lost the ring bought by Hince during the American leg of his band’s recent tour just three hours after receiving it.
The Kills guitarist was not pleased that Moss had 'misplaced' the Native American ring designed to symbolize the model's happy future and Hince's role in it. She ended up turning her Cotswolds home upside down looking for it and nearly missed her flight to Thailand, where she, Hince and her daughter Lila Grace plan to spend the New Year. "There was a terrible panic when Kate realised the ring had disappeared," the Mirror quoted a source as saying.
"Jamie had it specially made for her in Santa Fe. It was solid silver with a gorgeous blue stone and was supposed to have all sorts of protective powers. But Kate forgot to put it back in its box and the piece went walkabout. She was scouring through the bins and rifling around discarded wrapping paper like a woman possessed."
"Jamie almost lost his rag when he thought they were going to miss their flight. He had to practically shove her into the car. Poor Kate kept apologizing. But she later joked that the ring's protective powers left a lot to be desired!" the source added.
