Mick Jagger Reaches Pensioner Age

What a relief to be talking about someone who is old but cool (unlike McCain). "Eve of Destruction" is re-released, the Crosby Stills Nash and Young "Deja Vu" movie just opened here, and the Zombies played lsat night. I'm reading the British papers because it's morning there already (and midnight here, the day before.)

Mick is now entitled to a $168/week pension and five years from now he will qualify for free roof insulation. He's still strutting in movies (such as "Shine a Light") and will also be producing them, and hasn't had to go to Rehab (like bandmate Ron Wood recently.) He once had an affair with Carla Bruni, now married to Sarkozy of France (see our gratuitous photo from yesterday.) Then there were Marianne Faithfull, Jerry Hall and the inimitable Bianca Perez Macias of Nicaragua.

He is a knight, but explained, "I don't really think the establishment as we know it exists any more."
